Acheleia
Acheleia. Acheleia village is roughly 7 kilometers southeast of Paphos city centre and approximately 5 minutes away from Paphos International Airport. The village is built at an altitude of 35 meters above sea level and it is found very close to the east side of the watercourse of the river "Ezousa". Due to the richness of the soil and the abundance of water, the area is full of farmers cultivating an array of vegetables, citrus and olive trees, potatoes and vineyards.
Acheleia remains one of the smallest communities of the province of Paphos and has kept its traditional character. The renowned Elea Estate Golf Course is no more than a 5 minute drive away from the village centre.
