Chloraka. Chloraka village is situated off the main Kato Paphos to Coral Bay road. There is a coastal pathway that stretches a few kilometres and offers fantastic scenery. The village centre is elevated and has good amenities including a Supermarket, both of which include ATM's and a pharmacy. There is also a good selection of taverns and restaurants.
Chloraka is steeped in history and about 150m east of the village, following a narrow track there is a vaulted chapel dedicated to St.George with paintings belonging to the 16th Century. As you travel along the main road between Paphos and Coral Bay, you can't miss the shipwreck just off the coast of Chloraka. The wreck is the Demetrios II, a cargo ship built in 1964, and ran aground off Paphos lighthouse in heavy seas. The wreck remains on the rocks today, and is likely to stay there for a long time to come.
