Geroskipou. Geroskipou or Ieros-kipos (sacred garden) derives from the (holly) sacred gardens of the goddess Aphrodite and is a coastal town 3.5 kilometres east of Paphos. Geroskipou is famous for the church of Agia Paraskevi an extremely significant example of Byzantine architecture dated to the 9th century. Also important is the Folk Art Museum and of course Geroskipou is very famous for the production of Cyprus Delights or Loukoumia.
Geroskipou offers you the ability to enjoy the tranquility of a small traditional community without being forced to be deprived of any of the services which a big town has to offer since it is adjacent with Paphos city centre and it is just 7 kilometers away from Paphos International Airport.
