Kathikas
Kathikas. Kathikas is one of the Laona villages in the Paphos. It is situated on a plateau 22 kilometers north of Paphos, 14km from Latchi and 12kn from Coral Bay. It has an altitude of 645m above sea level, which provides it with a good climate in the summer months. This is wine country and the area is famous for its vineyards and excellent quality of grapes.
Kathikas village is full of life, energy and hospitality. The focal point of the village is the square where the main church Panayia Evangelistria and its beautiful murals is located. Surrounding the square are coffee shops and tavernas. The Akamas Penisula, Lara Bay (Turtle Hatchery), Polis and the baths of Aphrodite are all easily accessible from Kathikas, as is the golf course in Tsada.
