Kissonerga
Kissonerga. Kissonerga, a village with many centuries of rich history, constitutes a treasure of archaeological findings. The village is located approximately 8 kilometres north of the town of Paphos and just 5 minutes away from Coral Bay. It is built on an altitude of 80 metres and the view from its heights is unique as the blue colour of the sea mingles with the golden-green colour of the rural cultivation creating a wonderful picture that looks like a painting.
In Kissonerga, old and new characteristics coexist harmonically. On the one side there is the old neighbourhood with its narrow alleys and modest houses, and on the other side there are new neighbourhoods with big modern villas, tourist areas with hotels, taverns and restaurants.
