Timi. The village existed during the Middle Ages, and is noted in old maps as Timi. Very close to the village is an archaeological site of prehistoric times exists. Furthermore, the area of the village is an important place between ancient Palaipaphos and ancient Paphos.
The mosque of the village was in the past a Byzantine church dedicated to Ayia Sophia. Even though the temple was painted inside, the paintings were covered with plaster. The main church of the village, Ayia Eirini, is contemporary and it is located in the center of the village. In the village one can walk around the forest in the area, swim in the beautiful beach and visit the ancient Fountain of the community.
